Description
My AuDHD Toolkit Thursday 22nd October
This is where we pull it all together into something practical, portable, and personalised. Understanding AuDHD is essential, but we also need tools that actually work when overwhelm hits, when RSD spirals, when executive function disappears, or when we just need to get through the day.
This session is a hands-on toolkit designed specifically for AuDHD brains. We’ll cover strategies for managing overwhelm and sensory needs that go beyond generic advice. We’ll tackle task initiation and decision paralysis – the classic “I know what I need to do, I just can’t start” problem – with executive function support that actually fits how your mind works.
You’ll learn RSD tools and emotional regulation strategies for those moments when feelings hit magnified and fast. We’ll build an emergency plan for tough days – a pre-made, no-thinking-required guide for when you’re too burnt out, overstimulated, or shut down to figure out what to do next. And we’ll explore grounding techniques that work specifically for AuDHD brains, not just generic mindfulness that can feel impossible when you’re dysregulated.
What you’ll learn:
