Description

Life After Diagnosis (including self-diagnosis) Thursday 8th October

Diagnosis – whether formal or self-identified – can be a door swinging open. But what’s on the other side is rarely straightforward. There’s relief, grief, anger, validation, confusion, and a thousand questions about who you are when you stop pretending to be someone else.

This session is about navigating the emotional rollercoaster that comes after discovering you’re AuDHD. We’ll look back at your life through this new lens – reinterpreting past struggles, missed opportunities, and moments of “why am I like this?” with understanding rather than shame.

We’ll talk honestly about what happens when you stop masking. For many of us, the mask has been on so long we barely know what’s underneath. Letting it go can be freeing, terrifying, and deeply disorienting – sometimes all at once.

And we’ll cover the practical side too: your legal rights, what reasonable adjustments actually look like, and how to advocate for yourself in workplaces, education, and relationships when you finally have the language to name what you need.

What you’ll learn:

  • The emotional rollercoaster after diagnosis (including self-diagnosis)

  • How to look back at your life through the AuDHD lens with compassion

  • What happens when you stop masking – the good, the hard, and the unexpected

  • Your legal rights and how to access reasonable adjustments

Who this is for:
Adults who are diagnosed with, self-identifying as, or exploring AuDHD – and their partners, families, friends, and colleagues.

This is an online event. This is the second of the 4 webinars. The webinar is from 7pm – 8pm with a break included and plenty of time for questions.

Part of a series: This is the second of four stand-alone webinars. For those that attend all four there will be a bonus webinar as a gift after the series finishes. This will also be available to buy.
